Entitled college professor drops 22-year-old senior from his class after just one absence, student gets the administration to intervene: 'The look on the professor’s face still makes me chuckle to this day'

This college student pulled out his receipts to stop his curmudgeon of a professor from delaying his graduation.

Everyone has come across an authority figure at some point in their lives who seems committed to getting in the way of their achievements. In this instance, we have a 22-year-old senior in college who just needed one more credit to graduate with his chosen major. Now that he was in his final semester and this elusive course was finally offered again, it seemed that the stars were aligning and he would be able to graduate on time.

Then, the author realized who his professor was. This man was known to be an unnecessarily difficult instructor. You know, the kind of guy who no one within the administration can really do much about because he's tenured? There are at least a few at every university. This student had this professor before during freshman year, and the professor gave him a hard time when he fell ill and had to miss a few classes.

As luck would have it, the author got sick again and needed to miss the very first class. Now, the professor is trying to use that as an excuse to drop the student from the course entirely, which would force him to delay his graduation.
